Zahra’s Ya Helwa Retreat Schedule

THURSDAY,  AUGUST 17

ARRIVAL: 3:00 pm (please arrive by 5:00 pm at the latest)

CHECK-IN - At the Office, get your room assignment, schedule & T-Shirt.

Everyone must sign a liability release for HSI and Zahra

Get settled in your room, check out the grounds, have a cup of tea/coffee…

6:00 - 7:00 Dinner - All Meals in Dining Hall

Orientation with staff member of Hope Springs (Towards end of dinner) 

7:30 - Zahra - Warda Weekend Warm Up - Arabesques (All Classes in Studio)

8:30 - Rest & Restore Yoga with Andi (yoga mats, blocks, blankets, pillows available in the studio. Disinfectant cleaners also available)

Go to bed early or Hang out in the Spirit House around the fire pit, facial masks

 

FRIDAY, AUGUST 18

7:20 - 7:50 Sunrise Yoga with Andi 

8:00 - 9:00 Breakfast 

9:30 - 11:30 Zahra - Warda II, Musicality, Fi Yom Wa Leila Combo

12:00 - 1:00 Lunch 

1:30 - 4:00 Amanda - Mageance/Choreography Exploration, Skills/Theory Development

4:00 - 4:15 Stretch With Andi

Leisure time…Relax, take a nap, sit in the hot tub, have a snack, or sit and meditate in the Spirit House (round building), meditation seats available, or take a guided walk with Chip.

5:00 - Guided nature walk with Chip (leisure, meditative)

6:00 - 7:00 Dinner 

7:15 - GROUP PHOTO IN T-SHIRTS AFTER DINNER (Studio)

7:30 - Rest & Restore Yoga with Andi 

9:00-ish Camp Fire - (weather permitting) Smores & glow in the dark adornment

 

SATURDAY, AUGUST 19

7:20 - 7:50 Sunrise Yoga with Andi 

8:00 - 9:00 Breakfast 

9:30 - 11:30 Amanda - Pop, Lock, Shake and Dazzle, Drum Solo Skills

12:00 - 1:00 Lunch 

1:30 - 3:15  Zahra - Warda III, Combo Building Blocks to Law Mehtaglia

3:15 - 3:30  Stretch with Andi - *Performers Check in with Zahra for Show

3:30 - 5:55 Leisure Time/Show Prep, Light Food in Dining Hall (4-6pm)

6:00 - SHOW BEGINS! 

7:30 - DINNER (Audience members joining us)

After Dinner: Camp Fire, Hot Tu, Relax

 

SUNDAY, AUGUST 20

SLEEP IN (or start organizing/packing)

8:00 - 9:00 Breakfast 

9:30 - Warm Up Yoga with Andi

10:00 - 11:30 Amanda - Movement Analysis & Exploration for Bellydancers

12:00 - 1:00 Lunch and Goodbyes
